The climbing field of Xiropotamos is located on the south side of Mount Falakrou, in the gorge “DUBARI REMA” which is located above the industrial area of Drama.

It is 10 km from the city of Drama just after the exit from the village of Xiropotamos. At about halfway there is a signposted right fork which in 800 m leads to the climbing field. 

The climbing field of Xiropotamos is accessible by car and suitable for a family route. The rock is limestone, and 16 routes have been opened so far, up to 20 meters high and with a difficulty of IV to VIII grade.

The field is suitable for both climbing and rappel. Rappel is the technique of descending from a rock. The distance of the descent is 12-17 meters in natural landscape and the action time can be 3 hours with breaks. The level of difficulty is moderate, and all ages can participate.
