It is a beautiful mansion that carries memories from the past. In the war of 1940, the Bulgarians requisitioned the house, turning it into a Community Store, while with their departure they destroyed most of the furniture in the house.

The library is also housed in the building. It has an organized reading room with two (2) computers with internet connection. The library is a donation of the benefactor, doctor Stylianos Samaras and today includes over 6200 titles of Greek and foreign language books. It is staffed through community service with a librarian and also operates as a lending library.
