It is a custom, with three days of events, which culminates on Monday, the day of the Holy Spirit, as young people from the village, on horseback, with the icon of the Holy Trinity, ascend to the chapel of the same name at the top of Falakros.
It is a custom that comes from the depths of time, like so many others that take place in the area of the Prefecture of Drama and in its villages, which preserve all these important customs, in fact they preserve their history.
On Sunday, the young people of the village hold various feasts in places outside the village, while on Monday, the day of the Holy Spirit, they take the icon from the village priest immediately after the Divine Liturgy, and horsemen take it to the chapel of the Holy Trinity the top of Falakros. This is done at 12 noon. There is baking, the horsemen arrive and then the goat soup kurbani is shared. The big ritual takes place on Monday afternoon, when everyone descends from the chapel together and makes a grand entrance into the village.
