Hidden in the green foliage of the trees, a few kilometers before Paranesti, in a recess of the road, we find the chapel of Agia Paraskevi, next to which, for a hundred years, has been springing from the bowels of the earth and under the oak trees, tear of Saint Paraskevi. A miraculous Hagiasma for the faithful, which they honor with reverence just like Agia Paraskevi, believers from the wider region but also from other parts of our country, in the context of Religious Tourism.
Next to the church, a guest house was built with the help of pilgrims and Greek immigrants.
The donations to the grace of Agia Paraskevi are many, usually clothes, scarves, flannel, rosaries, mainly from people who are sick. It is customary, either for the pilgrims to leave them themselves or to send them with their relatives who will also bring them some holy water, to drink and anoint their wounds, especially if they suffer from a serious eye disease.
These tamas, as usual, are hung on one of the trees in the church yard, but also next to the icon of Agia Paraskevi that is on the wall of the stone-built sanctuary.
