Between the prefectures of Drama and Kavala, Kefalari is located in Drama with its characteristic river that crosses it and the rich vegetation with plane trees. It is one of the most beautiful villages of the prefecture of Drama, characterized by the green landscape due to the presence of water. In Kefalari there is a fish farm producing freshwater fish. 

Kefalari is famous for its springs and for the quality of its drinking water. The water that gushes from the dozens of springs is abundant, since it supplies the entire city of Kavala and the area of Kalampaki. Finally, in the village there are remarkable places to visit and enjoy the scenery.
